THE CORE -  Middle School Ministry

5th-8th grade

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

At The Core Middle School Ministry, we are committed to help your 5th-8th grader establish and build a strong foundational relationship with Jesus Christ and to train them to be able to share Jesus with the world. The middle school ministry is called “The Core,” and our core is the very center of who we are, it’s our identity. Our goal as a ministry team is to equip your children to find their core in Jesus. Our desire is for the next generation to build every part of their lives on the foundation of a relationship with Jesus. Then they will be strong in their faith and able to change any environment because of the power of Jesus in their life. If you are searching for a place for your children to be encouraged, to be challenged, and taught truth to be applied in their life, then this is the place for you and your child!

  • Quinton Thornton- Middle School Director

Our vision:

Reaching the world one MIDDLE SCHOOLER at a time and training them to do the same by letting Christ have every part of their life.

Our mission: Luke 19:10- “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Our mission is Jesus’ mission, to seek and save the lost, and to cultivate, train, and equip tweens to grow to maturity in their faith, understanding the change in their lives, having a heart to share the Gospel with the lost, and standing firm through any obstacle to the end because of their CORE foundation in Jesus.

REAL -  Senior High Student Ministry - Are You For Real?

Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.

1 John 2:6

Our Goal at Union 3 Baptist Church is to teach our students through scripture and action what it means and how they can have a REAL relationship with Jesus Christ, that it can be lived out in this world today, and must be lived out so that they can lead fellow students to a saving relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.  John 15:8
